How long have you been doing this for?
I shot my first wedding on film when I was 18, then by mid twenties I started shooting weddings on my DSLR. I made this full time hobby a true full time career over 10 years ago and now in my thirties I’d say I have one heck of a lot of years being a professional photographer. I’ve experienced so much, good and not so shiny. The love stories and memorable moments have been more than magical.
How much experience do you have shooting weddings?
I’ve shot over 800 weddings and I’ve seen a wedding day unfold over and over. I’ve shot weddings as big as 800 people, and as small as me, the couple and officiant (and I even got to sign the register as a witness!). And, I was even a bride and have my own experience to help & give advice from. I’d say I know more than a lot and have a ton of experience.
Do you travel?
Absolutely! I’m based out of Toronto, but am often shooting love stories in Muskoka, PEC, and all over Ontario. But I also travel to exotic sunny places and one of my favourite adventures was a sweet intimate wedding in Ireland. Take me with you, I’ll pack my bag in a heartbeat!
What is your turn around time?
For my weddings, the turn around time is between 9-10 weeks… with a few days here and there….. its an art. For my lifestyle sessions, it’s approximately 3 weeks.
Why do you ask so many questions in your contact page?
If you write “send me your packages” or ignore the parts where I ask about you and your relationship then I know we aren’t a good fit and you probably wont hear back from me. Sorry!
