2016. What a year. It was the busiest season or rather year to date. To be honest, my weddings start as early as January and go straight thru to December, so there isn't really a season of weddings, but a whole year. It's a little heavier with 'I do's' some months, and others have a few more elopements. Each month is weaved with so much love that it inspires me in different ways.
This year I traveled to Kentucky for my first wedding of the season, then I photographed a beautiful wedding at a castle in Toronto. From there I photographed at so many different venues in so many different seasons. I got married in the middle of it all with a double header days before I said "I do". Fall felt extra magical with being able to cross off my bucket list a gorgeous wedding at Evergreen Brickworks and also a wedding in Prince Edward County that started at the Drake Devonshire and ended at the Crystal Palace. Then the end of the season was made complete with a wedding at the Drake Hotel in Toronto (with the fabulous commute of only 15 steps from my own home) and a further trek to Niagara-on-the-Lake where I watched a real fairy tale come to life as one bride rode in a horse and carriage to the church to marry her best friend.
All in all, this year rocked pretty hard and I'm insanely thankful to all the couples who chose me to come along on their adventure.
